WIAW - The Aftermath

My Mum visited on the weekend, and it was brilliant. We had amazing Thai food for dinner, a delicious Sunday morning brunch and market visit at Southbank, and we went shopping. I can't complain at all. I got a few cute badges from the market - one said 'SNAPE IS INNOCENT'. I could not stop laughing.

But now, in the aftermath, life is crazy hectic again with uni work, because I took a few days off. So here is what I ate Monday, trying to get back on track and eating around a crazy uni schedule which involved an exam, a random uni consultation for an article and researching marine parks.

And in good news, I have upped the weights at Bodypump. I still can't lift a lot, but it's more than before!

So here is this weeks WIAW. Thanks as usual to Jenn at Peas and Crayons for hosting.

This breakfast is my absolute favourite one at the moment. Oats, almond milk, banana, cinnamon and honey.

Lunch was something pretty delicious too - caprese salad in a bowl with spinach, and an egg scramble with mushrooms, spinach and cheese. Also had a peice of amazing sourdough bread on the side.

For dinner I made pizza on whole wheat pita breads - layered sweet potato and potato, with tomato, spinach, mushrooms, cheddar cheese and salmon. I only had half because I could not wait for my dessert.

Yoghurt with strawberries, blueberries, chocolate covered blueberries and mango!!! MANGO! The first mango of the season! It is my absolute favourite fruit ever! I was incredibly excited by this.

I also snacked on some white bread and white rice throughout the day.

So now I'm off to do some work and then check out your WIAWs!

  5. Oatmeal seems to be on everyone's WIAW today! :) Have you ever tried quinoa? Because of my wheat allergy I can't have oatmeal right now, so I've been experimenting a lot. And berries are always a must in any breakfast!
