WIAW - Halfway Done

I'm now over halfway through my last semester of uni for the year.

I'm pretty excited about it. After this semester I only have one year left. That's just so scary. Then I'll be a proper grown up. It's also going to be my last summer holidays. Which is mostly sad. I'm incredibly busy for the next few weeks. I have tons of assignments, so I have to warn you, there are incredibly easy recies coming up on the blog. In two weeks though, it's our mid-sem break, for one week, and I'm really looking foward to that - my Mum is visiting again, and one of my friends from back home!

Sidebar: is anyone else super excited that Murray finally won a grand slam? You all know my love for him so you can bet I was pretty upset when I got up early to watch the match online only to find that I couldn't get it anywhere!! Yeah, wasn't a great morning. I ended up watching the live scores on the official website, which is not the same. Still, so happy he won. Also this is a pretty cool fact - this year Djokovic won the Australian Open, Nadal the French, Federer won Wimbledon, and Murray the US Open. The 'big four' officially exist.

So as today is Wednesday and I'm way too busy to write a proper post, I thought I'd just jump straight into WIAW and show you what I ate yesterday. As usual, a huge thanks to Jenn at Peas and Crayons for hosting this event. It's actually not Fall here, so I feel that this picture does not really apply to me haha.

Breakfast: No picture, as it was the usual breakfast of oatmeal with banana, cinnamon and honey.

Lunch: We didn't have the food for what I originally wanted, so this was what happenned. Magical Breakfast Cream with fresh berries, and my caprese salad bites.

Snacks throughout the day: Some protein balls I made (recipe coming soon) and bits of yoghurt, bits of popcorn and other random things.

Dinner: Clean lasagne. I will definitely be remaking this, taking better pictures and posting the recipe soon! It was fantastic. I started to cut it before I remembered to take a picture.

Dessert: I forgot to take a picture. I was looking forward to it too much. I had one of the Weight Watchers 'two fruits' tins, with a bit of muesli and my roommates cereal.

Exercise: My legs were hurting like crazy, so I took the day off. Today I got up really early so I could get in a good workout before going to uni. I usually do BodyPump but I will miss it today. So instead I did a 30-day shred, my own circuit workout with free weights, and a Blogilates abs pilates video.

Breakfast: So because I didn't take a picture of my breakfast yesterday I took one of today's breakfast, which was amazing. This was 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, strawberries heated and melted slightly in microwave, all stirred together. Topped with cinnamon, LSA, honey and fresh strawberries. Yes, it was amazing.

And now I'm off to look at all of your lovely WIAWs. Have a great day everyone!
